Have you ever wished to know what happened at your home, backyard, bedroom or somewhere in your house when you were gone? If your answer is yes, this program might be really good for you. What this program does, it detects any moving around your house. You can leave your webcam recording for hours and the program will automatically detect any movement. When you're back home, you can scan the video and see what happened while you were working or studying. It does sound like spying, doesn't it? However, you could use it for security reasons.
The software can be used to control your own business. You could record the front door of your store or the place where you keep the money. As you can see, the software is useful for a lot of things.
To start using the software, you have to install a webcam and the program has to detect it. Once that's done, you can start recording. When you stop the video, the software will start looking for human or animal movements and will display the part of the recording where there was an action.
There are three versions of this software: the starter edition, the basic edition and the pro edition.
The starter edition is free, it only supports one kind of camera and only one video resolution (QVGA (320x240).
The basic edition supports two kinds of cameras, QVGA (320x240), VGA (640x480),
XGA (1024x768), SXGA (1280x1024) video resolution and comes with all the important functions:
- Script when a specific element is seen.
-Automatically uploads video clips to an FTP site for security.
-Optimize storage by responding only to certain rules.
The difference between the basic and pro edition is that the pro edition supports as many cameras as your computer can support.
